- Continuous Power: These generator sets are also designed for uninterrupted use. They are typically used in places where it is crucial that there are no power cuts under any circumstances. This includes hydroelectric plants, water pumping stations, control towers, etc.
- Auxiliary Power: Their use is limited and ranges between 200 and 500 hours annually. They are found in locations where the conventional power grid is unreliable or does not provide the necessary energy for the normal development of a labor, industrial, or commercial activity.
- Emergency Auxiliary Power: This type of equipment is designed to operate for a maximum of 200 hours each year. It is not advisable to overload them, and they are typically found in places where there are occasional power cuts in the grid and electricity supply.
